There is a saying that “there are 3 kinds of people on earth; those
who make things happen, those who watch things happen and those who do not know
what is happening.”
What category do you belong to?
In any environment those who belong to the first category are
usually the leaders. They are people who change the environment positively by
their attitude. They seek out problems and find solutions to such problems.
They are people whom the rest look up to for support, encouragement and at other
times, reprimand. They challenge others to bring out the best in them. Team
members find them approachable.
They are like a thermostat in any team they find themselves. A
thermostat is a device or a control unit that regulates and maintains the
temperature of the environment. It determines what the environmental
temperature will be.
Finally I ask again, what category do you belong to? If you are not
in the first category, start to consciously make things happen in your team.
