What are you focussing on right now? Are you focussing on your failures or you are focussing on What is your focus right now? Are focussing on your failures or your successes? Your gains or losses? The good times or the bad times? Your focus should be on the "mission" and when you make a mistake, don't chase after it. Don't try to defend it. Don't throw good money after it. Just refocus your attention on the mission. A great Leader once observed, 'Concentration is the secret of strength in politics, war, trade, in fact in all management of human affairs.
Keep your eyes always on what it is that you desire to achieve. I am yet to meet a person who focus on yesterday and had a better tomorrow. The key is to focus on what you are learning not on what you are losing, it is only then that you can open the door to opportunities. The measure of success is not whether you have tough problems but whether it is the same problem you had last year. A problem solved is a springboard to future success.
