How to Overcome Adversity

We all face adversity at one point or the other in our lives. You are not alone in this. Even people who seems to look like "they have it all working out for them" face adversity in one area of life or the other at some point in their lives. Nothing can motivate a person like adversity. It all depends on your perspective. See adversity as a motivator and you will come out of it stronger and better. See it as "it was meant to kill me" and you get frustrated and depressed.

If you can step back from the negative circumstances facing you, you will be able to discover their positive benefits. That is almost always true; you simply have to be willing to look for them - and not take the adversity you are experiencing personally.
For example if you lose your job, think about the resilience you are developing, if you try something daring and survives, evaluate what you learnt about yourself and how it will help you take on new challenges.
According to Bill Vaughan; In the game of life it's a good idea to have a few early losses, which relieves you of the pressure of trying to maintain an undefeated season.
Finally, always measure an obstacle next to the size of the dream you are pursuing. It's all in how you look at at it. To your success.
